3 Ingredient Chocolate Bark

Hi, my names Kelsey and I have a serious obsession with dark chocolate.... :) So naturally I had to come up with a recipe that I could simply whip up whenever I had a chocolate craving, and customize it based off of how I was feeling for the day! Lately I have been LOVING a snack that consists of nuts, seeds, dried fruit and some broken up dark chocolate. So I thought, why not create a recipe that has all those things.... all in one place! Ridiculously simple, no baking or cooking required, full of healthy fats, sweetened with honey, and quite delicious! I bring you this 3 ingredient chocolate bark... and yes I say only 3 ingredients, because although the toppings make up more.. the base is as easy as 1,2,3!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup refined coconut oil, melted

  • 1/4 cup cacao powder

  • 4 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)

  • Any nuts, seeds, or dried fruit you enjoy!

Topping suggestions:

  • Unsweetened coconut shreds, or chips

  • Raisins

  • Gogi Berries

  • Toasted pumpkin seeds

  • Cashew pieces

  • Crushed up almonds

  • Pistachios

Instructions:

Place a small cookie sheet in freezer while mixing ingredients together, and preparing toppings. Remove cookie sheet from freezer and poor chocolate into the center of the tray and spread to your desired thickness. The chocolate will begin to harden, so quickly sprinkle the toppings over the chocolate, pressing down lightly so they set once frozen. Stick in the freezer and let harden completely. Remove from cookie sheet carefully, break into pieces and store in an airtight container in the freezer.
